Job Summary:

The Senior Restaurant Manager at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill has overall responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the restaurant. This senior leadership position involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, service excellence and driving business growth. The Senior Restaurant Manager will lead a dynamic team, implement exemplary standards of service, and collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain the excellence associated with the Gordon Ramsay brand.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations to ensure service, cleanliness, and efficiency meet the highest standards.

Uphold Gordon Ramsay’s brand by maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and service across all food and beverage offerings.

Lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, promptly handling feedback and ensuring satisfaction.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination and alignment on menu execution.

Assist in developing budgets, monitor key financial metrics such as sales, labour, and cost control to support profitability goals.

Recruit, train, and evaluate team members while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high performance.

Work with the marketing team to execute campaigns, enhance the restaurant’s online presence, and support promotional initiatives and community engagement.

Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations through regular inspections and enforcement of policies.

Maintain a professional image at all times, actively contribute to departmental training, and develop strong relationships with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.

Remain flexible to departmental changes and carry out any additional tasks assigned by the leadership team in line with Sunway Values and standards.

Requirement:

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in a high-end or fine dining establishment.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.

Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding the standards of a renowned chef's brand.

Proficiency in restaurant management software, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
