Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Research Analyst with direct, hands‑on experience preparing research reports for IPO prospectuses, circulars, or listing submissions. This role is suited for candidates who understand the heightened standards of accuracy, defensibility, and disclosure required for capital market documentation, and who are comfortable producing research that withstands scrutiny from regulators, advisers, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research across various industries to support market research assignments for IPOs, listings, and capital market documentation.
Gather, collate, organise and systematically tabulate market and industry data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, traceability, and auditability.
Perform rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis, including market sizing, forecasting, benchmarking, and trend assessment, through clearly defined assumptions, parameters, and defensible methodologies.
Develop objective, strategic insights and practical recommendations based on research findings, ensuring outputs remain analytically independent and suitable for regulatory scrutiny.
Produce detailed, concise, and professionally structured research reports suitable for inclusion in prospectuses, circulars, annual reports, and public‑facing materials.
Maintain full ownership of assigned engagements, managing scope, timelines, deliverables, and quality standards in line with due diligence and verification requirements.
Build and foster strong, professional relationships with clients and advisers.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in market research for listing submissions, or capital market documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in research or consulting; IPO or capital market exposure is a strong advantage.
Strong capability in market sizing, forecasting, and mod‑elling using defensible assumptions and transparent methodologies.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Resourceful in sourcing data and validating information from credible sources.
Capable of framing and solving complex analytical challenges.
Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
Adaptable to diverse industries and markets.
Effective at managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
