Job summary

Renesas Electronics (Malaysia) is seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to lead Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) programs and ensure long-term quality across design, manufacturing, and field deployment. You will drive reliability monitoring, stress testing, and continuous improvement to meet international standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in product quality or reliability in semiconductors.
Strong knowledge of JEDEC, AEC, IPC standards.
Extensive experience with ORT, reliability monitoring, and data analysis.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead ORT strategies and data analysis for production products.
Define ORT plans and stress tests for various applications.
Lead risk assessments (DFMEA, PFMEA) for long-term reliability.
Review qualifications and ORT results for production release.
Publish reliability reports with risk assessments and recommendations.
Drive continuous reliability improvements with Design, Manufacturing, and QA teams.
