Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Malaysia seeks a Senior Product Quality Engineer to lead Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) programs and drive long-term product reliability across design, manufacturing, and field deployment.

You will work with Design, Test, Manufacturing, Reliability Labs, and Customer/Supplier Quality teams to prevent defects, identify reliability risks, and implement robust quality improvements throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product quality/reliability.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and reliability standards.
• Experience with ORT, reliability monitoring, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead ORT strategies and data analysis for production products.
• Define ORT plans and stress tests for applications.
• Attend milestone meetings from design to production transfer.
• Review qualifications and integrate with ORT programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, JEDEC, AEC, etc.
