Position Summary

Responsible for reliability in support of engineering development and manufacturing needs. Responsible for developing and executing reliability strategies that drive design decisions and comply to industry standards. Provide reliability stress support and technical reporting of reliability results.

What You Will Do
  • Apply reliability knowledge and methods to design stress conditions to evaluate new products and design changes in coordination with Product Development.
  • Write reliability stress plans for engineering evaluations, design verifications, and product and process qualifications and execute on plans with minimum guidance working cross-functionally with reliability equipment and test teams.
  • With minimum guidance, write reliability reports sharing data analysis results, technical observations, and reliability assessments to guide decision making in development activities leading to on-time product releases.
  • Follow reliability engineering best practices.
  • Create customer facing reports for technical sharing as aligned with development quality and product marketing.
  • Participate in quality and reliability productivity and cost improvement programs.
  • Maintain a robust file storage system for accurate record keeping your reliability projects.
  • Write and review reliability standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior engineers on reliability best practices and in areas to increase their technical capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and investigate reliability stress failures through investigations, bench-top testing, and by working cross-functionally with other teams.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant industry standards (AEC/IEC/ISO) and customer order specs.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications)
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis, failure analysis, and reliability testing.
  • Knowledge on JEDEC standards and AEC standards
  • Ability to analyse reliability data using JMP, Minitab.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Education (Minimum Level)
  • Bachelor's
Field of Study
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields of Electronics/Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Physics and or closely related field.
Years of Experience (Minimum)
  • 5 - 7 years
  • We are also open to welcome juniors for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of reliability engineering principles.
  • Proven ability to comprehensively apply degree – specific engineering principles in the design of highly reliable, complex systems.
