Job summary

PwC Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate in Risk and Compliance to join the Internal Firm Services team. You will manage licence applications, regulatory reporting, and licensing strategy across local and foreign regulators, contributing to PwC’s commitment to regulatory integrity.

The role demands attention to detail, strong knowledge of applicable laws, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams while delivering timely, accurate compliance data to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and/or a professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in licensing, operations, regulatory compliance, legal or a related field.
• Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit licence applications required by local and foreign regulators in a timely and accurate manner.
• Compile and submit regulatory reports in compliance with applicable requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Maintain a comprehensive and organised record of all licensing activities and related documentation.
• Continuously monitor the firm’s compliance with local and foreign regulatory obligations.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions to strengthen compliance, including automation and process enhancements.
