Job summary

Grip.Events is seeking an experienced RBI specialist to perform and support API 581 RBI assessments, update RBI models for static equipment and piping, and validate risk results. You will maintain RBI systems and support evergreening, review NDT data for degradation trends, and develop corrosion loops and dead-leg registers.

The role requires hands-on RBI assessments, familiarity with GE APM/Meridium, and the ability to lead RBI workshops while coordinating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 7–8 years RBI/asset integrity experience.
• Experience with operating refinery or petrochemical facility preferred.
• API 580 certification mandatory.
• Hands-on RBI assessments using RBI software.
• Experience with RBI implementation, sustainment and evergreening.
• Ability to support turnaround inspection scope and work-pack prep.
• Experience with RBI workshops, data validation and dashboard development.
• Ability to coordinate with Inspection, Corrosion, Process, Operations, Maintenance and NDT teams.
• Knowledge of static equipment and piping integrity, corrosion mechanisms, and WSIs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support API 581 RBI assessments.
• Develop and update RBI assessments for static equipment and piping.
• Validate RBI risk results and develop inspection strategies/plans.
• Maintain RBI systems and support RBI evergreening.
• Review inspection/NDT data and identify degradation trends.
• Develop corrosion loops, equipment groupings, piping circuits and dead-leg registers.
• Support PRD RBI, dead-leg RBI/TM and WSI development.
• Support turnaround planning and inspection work packages.
• Facilitate RBI workshops with technical teams.
• Maintain data quality and RBI information in APM systems.
• Prepare RBI reports, dashboards and technical documentation.
• Support knowledge transfer and training of client engineers.
