Qualifications

• Ability to compile project costs to meet budgets.
• Experience in materials sourcing and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project budgeting and cost control.
• Compile all relevant project costs to meet budget.
• Source materials and issue purchase orders (PO).
• Coordinate VO compilation and costing with contract team.
• Update subcontractors/vendors costings and liaise with contract team.
• Close projects with P&L compilation related to budget.
• Vet and verify subcontractors' claims.
• Receive tender notices, inquiries, and quotations related to cost/quotations.
• Inform accounts to issue tender deposits and follow up on deposits if tender fails.
• Arrange dispatch for tender document collection.
• Prepare tender bids and quotations.
• Follow up with clients/architects/designers after submission.
• Pass project information to project department if tender succeeds.
• Prepare contact lists and material procurement lists.
• Prepare variation orders, progress claims, sub-contractor payments, and final accounts.
• Source potential new suppliers/subcontractors and obtain quotations.
• Evaluate quotations and negotiate with subcontractors & suppliers.
• Liaise with site personnel, vendors, consultants, and subcontractors on project matters.
