Job description

· Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, tender documentation, bills of quantities, and financial forecasts.

Assist in preparing and managing contracts, including negotiation, award, and post-contract administration.

Engage with and evaluating suppliers, subcontractors, and contractors for material and service procurement.

Monitor expenditures, assessing progress claims and variation orders, and implementing cost-saving measures.

Conduct site measurements, valuations, and working closely with project managers, architects, and engineers.

Prepare project cost tracking, progress claims and subcontractor payments details.

Submit progress reports, final accounts, and ensuring accurate documentation and cash flow monitoring.

Ensure adherence to construction laws, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

0-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry [Salary Range RM3,000.00 to RM4,500.00]

3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry [Salary Range RM4,500.00 to RM6,000.00]

5 years and above of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry [Salary Range RM6,500.00 and above]

Proficiency in construction-specific software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, procurement, and contract law.

Capable of handling both pre- and post-contract duties.

Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Strong communication abilities for collaboration with various stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or in teams.

Proactive, responsible, and adaptable to project demands.

Willingness to travel to project sites if required.
