Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a cross-functional team spanning Hardware, Software, Mechanical, MFG, Test, and Supply Chain. You will establish quality standards, drive a QMS, and collaborate with partner teams to identify and mitigate risks.

The role emphasizes Six Sigma methods, KPI development, and robust supplier audits to ensure top-tier product quality across NPI and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (MS a plus).
• 10+ years in Quality Engineering in high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO/TL 9000 and other QMS.
• Experience establishing Quality KPIs to drive improvements.
• Experience with PCBA manufacturing and electro-mechanical assembly.
• Knowledge of tests, failure analysis, and debugging techniques.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and balance technical/business aspects.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Malaysia work rights.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality standards and KPIs for products and processes.
• Develop and implement an effective QMS within the organization.
• Collaborate with HW, SW, MFG, Failure Analysis, and supply chain to mitigate risks.
• Develop/Enhance supplier audit processes for high-quality standards.
• Contribute to supplier SBR/QBR processes.
• Lead investigations via tiger teams to achieve RCA and CLCA.
• Drive 8D process for NPI, production and sustaining quality improvements.
