What You Will Do

1. Customer Quality Engineering:
2. Analyze product failures and implement corrective actions
3. Communicate updates and reports to customers
4. Resolve customer quality issues in collaboration with teams
5. Prepare 8D reports and ensure corrective actions are completed
6. Manual Assembly + ICM Engineering:
7. Improve inspection processes to prevent defects
8. Ensure quality in manual assembly and ICM production
9. Conduct audits to assess product and process quality
10. Supplier Quality Engineering:
11. Perform supplier audits and follow up on findings
12. Address quality issues and drive subcontractor improvements
13. Qualify suppliers for manual assembly and ICM components

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline
• Experience as a Quality Engineer
• Ability to perform engineering analyses and drive root cause investigations of processing problems
• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and adhering to timelines
• Effective communication skills: proficiency in written, verbal, and group settings
• Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers
• Familiarity with statistical tools and SPC
• Basic analytical skills
• Understanding of FMEA and control plans
• Basic auditing skills

What Will Put You Ahead

• Degree in Manufacturing Quality Engineering
• Extensive experience as a Quality Engineer in related fields/areas
• Knowledge of SMT process
• Familiarity with database development, SPC software, and design of experiments
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
