The Senior Quality Assurance Manager is a key role within the Global Professional Practices (GPP) team, reporting directly to the Regional Head of Quality Assurance (QA), Asia Pacific. This position is crucial for executing the Quality Assurance and Improvement Programme (QAIP).

The role involves engaging with Regional Heads of QA, providing insights and feedback on QA reviews, and helping to drive GIA’s purpose, strategy, and digital initiatives to enhance assurance activities.

What you’ll do:

Collaborate with Regional Heads of QA to:

  • Stay informed about changes in business and regulatory environments to effectively challenge risk and control coverage by audit teams.
  • Deliver high-quality, value-added QA results.
  • Contribute to the global QAIP program.
  • Conduct QA Reviews following IIA Standards and best practices.
  • Utilize QA techniques to improve operational effectiveness and review timing.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for GIA staff to ensure knowledge and skills are appropriate.
  • Establish relationships with other QA Managers for consistent and effective QA work.
  • Communicate issues proactively with stakeholders, identifying root causes and strategic implications.
  • Promote a culture of open communication, curiosity, and diversity of thought.
  • Build credible relationships with GIA staff.
