Job Description

QMS:

• Oversee effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the company, including any business accreditations.
• Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures, ensuring contents are appropriate for the business.
• Analyze current and future procedural needs of the business.
• Organize and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system.
• Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors.
• Host external Quality System audits.
• Provide training on Quality issues and business processes.
• Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with plant continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents.
• Assist with training of quality awareness.
• Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure process adherence and prevent non-conformities related to product, process, or system.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.

Calibration:

• Perform in-house calibration of gauges and measuring instruments for Nilai facility and support AP for IMTE within Nilai calibration capability.
• Arrange IMTE calibration with external labs/vendors, obtain quotations, and raise PR for approval.
• Create vendor ID for new labs/vendors, ensure gauges are sent to accredited labs (IEC/ISO 17025), and register with WWQSL.
• Follow up on calibration, update system, and manage gauge status.
• Review external calibration reports to ensure standards are met.
• Manage calibration reports and notify users of faulty gauges.
• Manage the Smart QMS Calib system and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Set calibration intervals upon IMTE registration and ensure timely calibration.
• Monitor calibration due dates and ensure gauges meet standards before use.
• Generate calibration status reports and recommend improvements.
• Support calibration verification and audits at production lines.
• Support company policies, goals, and objectives, and perform other duties as assigned.

Others:

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
• Support continuous improvements, cost-saving, and AI projects related to job processes.
• Support plant safety activities.
• Initiate actions to prevent non-conformance and verify corrective actions.
