QMS Responsibilities:
- Oversee the effective implementation of the Quality Management System across the company, including maintaining business accreditations.
- Maintain and review the Quality Manuals and Procedures to ensure they are appropriate and up-to-date.
- Analyze procedural needs and organize internal audits and corrective actions.
- Conduct and host external Quality System audits, providing training and guidance to auditors.
- Coordinate reviews of Quality procedures related to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and facilitate their distribution.
- Support quality awareness training and report on KPIs to prevent non-conformities.
- Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Calibration Responsibilities:
- Perform in-house calibration of gauges and measuring instruments, supporting external calibration needs.
- Manage calibration vendors, including vendor approval, scheduling, and quality checks.
- Ensure calibration reports are accurate, filed, and gauges are maintained within standards.
- Manage the calibration system, including setting intervals and monitoring due dates.
- Ensure gauges and instruments meet calibration and environmental standards.
- Generate calibration status reports and support audits and process compliance activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support company policies, safety activities, and continuous improvement projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
