Job summary

A leading consultancy in construction seeks a Quantity Surveyor to review tender documents, source materials, and evaluate costs. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Facade industry and possess a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field. This position is based in Malaysia, Negeri Sembilan, Pasir Panjang.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the Facade industry.
• Strong analytical and evaluation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to understand project requirements.
• Prepare procurement and sub-contract schedules.
• Assist project manager with negotiations and awards.

Job description

Our client is a major player in the Facade subcontractor construstion business in Singapore and regionally.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews tender documents / requests for proposal to understand project details and requirements
• Provides detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs against the drawings as specified In the tender document
• Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement
• Evaluate of quotation and costing summary for approval prior tender submission
• Prepare procurement and sub-contract schedule
• Assist project manager with the negotiation and award of sub-contractors
• Ensure submission of bonds / warranties from sub-contractors
• Prepare report cost summary

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Min Diploma, Degree or Higher in Quantity Survey,Engineering or similar .
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in Facade industry.
