About the role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior QA Manager to join our client expansion team. As a Senior QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the quality assurance operations within our PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing facility based in Melaka.

What you'll be doing

Ensure implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS) per ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9100, ISO 13485, and customer requirements.

Oversee internal quality functions: supplier quality, incoming inspection, in-process control, and chemical lab.

Supervise product quality functions, including material declarations and UL certifications.

Support Top Management in setting quality policies and company goals.

Translate quality policies into actionable programs and lead their implementation.

Define roles and responsibilities within the Quality Assurance (QA) department.

Plan and implement quality control strategies to improve process capability and product quality.

Develop internal audit systems to evaluate QMS effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Prepare for and manage external audits by certification bodies or customers.

Lead, motivate, and engage QA staff in quality improvement initiatives.

Review process capability, product quality, and QMS performance; initiate improvement plans.

Coordinate creation and review of FMEA and Control Plans.

Manage environmental, health, and safety aspects within QA activities.

What we're looking for

Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the PCB manufacturing industry

Strong technical knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing, and testing processes

Proficient in using quality management tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address quality issues

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 , AS 9100, and ISO 13485 audits.
