YOUR ROLE
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of customer ECC management and complaint resolution techniques to meet customer excursion targets.
- Proficient in quality system compliance and effectiveness monitoring, including IATF and automotive customer certification requirements.
- Ability to lead and manage internal quality audits to ensure continuous system effectiveness.
- Skilled in coordinating training and certification programs for manufacturing specialists to support manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in managing plant process control, quality gates, and clean room standards to meet industry requirements.
- Experience establishing and managing incoming material quality monitoring and supplier quality audit programs.
- Ability to manage plant process change management systems to ensure compliance with automotive requirements.
- Strong capability in managing shopfloor quality engagement programs, including quality campaigns and manufacturing workcell activities.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills to guide QA engineers, manufacturing specialists, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with product groups, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive quality culture and continuous improvement initiatives at the plant and shopfloor levels.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams, including product groups and NPI, to ensure quality deliverables are met.

Your Skills & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing customer ECC (Escalation and Complaint Control) processes and driving quality improvement programs to reduce customer complaints.
- Strong background in implementing and maintaining quality systems compliant with IATF 16949 and customer-specific automotive quality standards.
- Experience leading internal audit programs and ensuring ongoing quality system effectiveness.
- Hands-on experience managing First Article (FA), Repeatability & Reproducibility (R&R), and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controls in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage process controls, quality gates, and supplier quality audit programs.
- Practical knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and experience leading Six Sigma projects.
- Experience working with New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to ensure quality standards are met for new product releases.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for leading and managing a group of team members.
