Job summary

Penchem Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support external testing requests and coordinate samples, schedules and results. You will perform DSC, TGA, DMA, and TMA analyses and interpret data to support material evaluation and troubleshooting.

The candidate will ensure documentation, GLP compliance, and quality control for materials across raw, in-process, and finished products, reporting findings to internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years laboratory experience, preferably in a third‑party lab.
• Hands‑on experience with thermal analysis instruments: DSC, TGA, DMA, TMA.
• Knowledge of material characterization, thermal properties, Tg, CTE, decomposition temp, viscoelastic properties.
• Ability to interpret thermal analysis data and prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Support external laboratory testing requests and coordinate samples, testing schedules, and result reporting.
• Ensure all testing activities are documented and compliant with GLP and quality systems.
• Perform quality control testing for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Review QC results, identify abnormalities, and report non-conformances.
• Communicate findings to cross‑functional teams and customers as needed.
