Job summary

Pave Bank is seeking an experienced Software QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases.

You will collaborate with developers and product teams, perform multi-layer testing (web, API, and mobile), and help shape QA strategy in a fast-moving fintech startup environment.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in both manual and automated QA.
• Hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps; React Native a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments and defining QA strategy from the ground up.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a rapidly scaling environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Hands‑on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, ideally using Playwright and TypeScript (or similar tools).

• Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Solid understanding of software development, testing principles, and Agile/DevOps workflows.

• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile apps (React Native experience a plus).

• Experience in fast‑paced startup environments and the ability to define QA strategy, processes, and standards from the ground up.

• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English.

• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership in a rapidly scaling environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing tools.

• Background in fintech or digital banking helpful but not essential.
