Your Job

As a Senior Officer in the Purchasing team at Molex, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our procurement operations. This role focuses on purchasing, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to our many exciting new project transfers. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and meeting company objectives.

You will be part of a Purchasing team, dedicated to excellence in procurement. Our team is creating a vibrant environment for growth and contribution.

What You Will Do

  1. Evaluate and enhance procurement operations using data analysis, forecasting, and reporting tools
  2. Address and resolve purchasing challenges, including delays, quality issues, and supplier disputes
  3. Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to mitigate impact
  4. Collaborate with various departments like planning, production, logistics, and quality to ensure smooth operations
  5. Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock adequacy and minimize waste
  6. Manage purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies
  7. Drive initiatives related to RBA, TS 16949, ISO 9001/14001, and more
  8. Foster strong working relationships and teamwork within the organization
  9. Innovate and provide solutions to workplace challenges
  10. Achieve department and company KPI goals
  11. Work closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues and manage supplier performance
  12. Utilize SAP Business Network for supply chain collaboration
Who You Are

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply chain Management, or a related field
  2. Experienced procurement professional in purchasing
  3. Proven experience in a senior purchasing role
  4. Strong negotiation and communication skills
  5. Self-driven and results-oriented with a clear focus on delivery and cost management
  6. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
  7. Strong analytical skills for market analysis and cost evaluation
  8. Solid understanding of supply chain management principles
  9. Excellent planning and organizing abilities
  10. Fluent English
What Will Put You Ahead

  1. Experience in sourcing is an added advantage
  2. Familiarity with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI
  3. Experience in supplier management and knowledge of supply chain collaboration tools
