Role: Senior Executive, Purchasing (Packaging Category)

About this opportunity

Take charge in leading the purchasing and negotiations in the packaging category. Be the driver in executing impactful initiatives / projects in continuous process improvement and cost saving in the Purchasing Team for packaging category.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage daily operations of the purchasing team in packaging category.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

Evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.

Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and inventory needs.

Oversee compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate procurement reports.

Identify and execute opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.

Key Requirement, Experience and Skills

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Possess at least 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.

Possess at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

Proven track record in vendor negotiation and supply chain optimization.

Familiar with SAP is an added advantage.
