Overview

We are seeking a Senior Purchasing Executive to manage procurement activities for sheet metal components, raw materials, tools, and services both locally and internationally. The role involves evaluating vendor quotations, monitoring market trends, and developing cost-reduction strategies to support our manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for sheet metal components, raw materials (steel, aluminum, etc.), tools, and services globally.
2. Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure compliance with technical and commercial specifications.
3. Monitor global markets for trends, pricing, and availability of materials.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand material requirements.
5. Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
6. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
7. Maintain knowledge of international trading practices, including Incoterms, import/export documentation, and logistics.
8. Keep accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier data in ERP systems.
9. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with inventory/planning teams to prevent shortages or overstock.
10. Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and international trade laws.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of purchasing experience in the sheet metal industry or related manufacturing sectors.
