SWAT Management & Consultancy Sdn Bhd is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team in Puchong Jaya, Selangor. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the purchasing operations to ensure the smooth supply of goods and services for our group of Chinese restaurants. What you'll be doing

• Develop and document SOPs for purchasing processes to standardize operations.
• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to source and acquire food and beverage products, raw materials, and equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure consistent quality.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers and vendors to optimize costs.
• Coordinate with inventory, operations, production, and quality assurance teams to align procurement with operational needs and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Track and manage orders to ensure timely delivery and prevent supply disruptions.
• Provide regular updates on procurement activities, pricing trends, cost analysis and supplier performance to management.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
• Ensure all purchased ingredients meet the company's quality standards.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and evaluate their performance regularly.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage ad hoc tasks as assigned (might be involved in Menu Development).

• Familiar with Purchasing and Inventory Management systems (such as FoodMarket Hub or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of suppliers in the F&B industry.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
