About the role

As a Senior Purchasing Executive at Xindeco IOT Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., you will play a crucial role in the company's supply chain operations. Based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, this full-time position will involve managing the procurement of raw materials, components, and other necessary supplies to support the company's manufacturing and logistics processes.

What you'll be doing

Sourcing and vetting potential suppliers to ensure the best quality and value for the company

Negotiating contracts and purchase orders with suppliers to secure favourable terms

Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders to maintain optimal stock levels

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and meet the company's procurement needs

Tracking and analysing procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency

Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with the company's policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Purchasing Executive or in a similar procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve procurement issues

Proficient in the use of procurement software and data analysis tools

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing business requirements

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

Must be able to communicate in Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
