Senior Project Planning & Development Manager - Property Developer

• Lead the project planning phase, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and timelines.

• Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

2. Design Development and Review

• Oversee the conceptualization, development, and refinement of architectural or civil designs.

• Review and approve design proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to optimize designs for functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

3. Feasibility Studies and Analysis

• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate site potential, zoning compliance, and project viability.

• Prepare reports detailing design options, cost estimates, and project risks.

• Recommend strategies to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.

4. Regulatory Compliance and Approvals

• Ensure designs and project plans adhere to local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

• Liaise with government authorities and agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals.

5. Budget and Cost Management

• Collaborate with cost consultants to manage project budgets and monitor expenses.

• Propose value engineering solutions to achieve cost efficiency without compromising quality.6. Team Leadership and Management

• Lead and mentor project planning and development teams, fostering a collaborative and high- performing work environment.

• Monitor team performance and provide training or resources to address skill gaps.

7. Sustainability and Innovation

8. Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

• Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet organizational and client standards.

• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

• Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and document best practices.

• Provide feedback to the design and planning team for future project enhancements.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architect or related field

o 7+ years of experience in civil engineering or architect, with a minimum of 3 years in a project management or senior engineering role within the construction/development industry.

o Extensive knowledge of construction methods, civil engineering principles, and project management practices.

o Strong understanding of civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).

o Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

o Strong leadership and team management skills.

o Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

o Ability to solve complex problems and handle high-pressure situations.

o Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Location: On-site and in-office (some flexibility depending on project phase).

• Travel: Frequent site visits and occasional travel to meet with stakeholders or attend meetings.
