Senior Project Manager – Interior Fit-Outs (Client-Side Leadership Role)
Overview:
A senior-level opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager to lead high-end commercial interior fit-out projects from inception through to successful handover. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive delivery excellence, manage diverse stakeholders, and ensure alignment with strategic project goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of interior fit-out projects, from concept and planning through execution and completion.
- Act as the main liaison for client-side coordination, managing expectations and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Direct and oversee consultants, contractors, and suppliers across all phases of the project.
- Shape and implement procurement strategies while ensuring adherence to schedule, financial parameters, and quality benchmarks.
- Navigate approvals, compliance requirements, and technical documentation to ensure smooth project progression.
Ideal Profile:
- Over 10 years of progressive experience in project management within the built environment, with a focus on commercial interiors.
- Demonstrated success in delivering premium office fit-out projects, particularly within Grade A developments and live environments.
- Strong capabilities in leading multidisciplinary teams, managing contracts, and driving stakeholder alignment.
- Familiarity with local regulatory frameworks, including permitting, statutory submissions, and landlord coordination.
- Proven ability to accelerate timelines through proactive risk mitigation and fast-track strategies.
- Exposure to projects for global corporations, particularly within the financial, banking, or multinational sectors, is highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of technical disciplines including interior architecture, MEP, and integrated building technologies (e.g., BMS/smart systems).
- Knowledge of green building certifications (e.g., LEED, GBI, GreenRE) is a strong asset.
