Job description

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - HIGH RISE MAIN CONTRACTOR

Responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure timely completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implement all policies and procedures as required by the Quality Management System.
  2. Monitor work progress for each project managed by the respective Manager - Project or Manager - Construction.
  3. Check all correspondence related to individual contracts and respond accordingly.
  4. Verify monthly progress reports prepared by the Manager - Project and Engineer - Project.
  5. Attend monthly consultant/client or site progress meetings and chair bi-weekly subcontractor meetings.
  6. Ensure timely delivery of all materials requested by the Manager - Project or Engineer - Project.
  7. Review and analyze construction drawings and advise the Manager - Project on construction methods for cost and time efficiency.
  8. Ensure all progress claims are submitted and paid by the client on time.
  9. Liaise with supervisors and design consultants at the Head Office.
  10. Assist and participate in new tender submissions and technical proposals.
  11. Report progress and project issues directly to the Executive Director (Construction).
  12. Plan, organize, implement, and monitor projects and daily operations to meet deadlines within budget and quality standards.
  13. Address technical issues on-site by developing solutions using engineering concepts, practices, and techniques.

Requirements

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Over 10 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Experience in high-rise building projects is mandatory.
  4. Experience in engineering design, construction supervision, and project management activities.
