Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects in the Advanced Automation and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector across Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the local project management methodology PPrlDA, along with knowledge of either PMI or Prince2 global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful project completion of a large-scale multi-year ICT project, including effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define and structure projects to meet delivery time, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Facilitate the establishment of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements.
• Develop and implement methods to monitor project progress.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between project stakeholders or internal teams to address issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Travel to customer sites to coordinate and present project roadmaps.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in the engineering sector – or business administration with a focus on project management – or equivalent proven experience in these fields.
• Minimum 10 years proven experience in handling large scale distributed ICT projects.
• Experience in handling government-related projects is a significant added advantage.
• Proven theoretical and practical experience in project management methodologies (PPrlDA, plus PMI and/or Prince2).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and organize projects within defined timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and leadership qualities to lead/coach/ mentor and motivate the project team to achieve shared objectives for the projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
• Flexibility and readiness to travel frequently within Malaysia and internationally during the project implementation phase.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Proficiency in German is an added advantage
