Job summary

Kairo Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering design consultancy activities for data centre and related infrastructure projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and liaise with clients and consultants to ensure timely, within-scope project delivery.

Immediate availability is preferred. The role is project-based (6–12 months) with potential extension, based on project requirements and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Data centre or related infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience with engineering consultancy, power infrastructure, MEP, or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering design and consultancy processes.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent project planning, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering design consultancy activities across the project life cycle.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, schedules, and milestones.
• Coordinate between client, consultants, engineers, vendors, contractors and stakeholders.
• Lead design coordination meetings and progress reviews.
• Monitor drawings, calculations, submissions and specifications progress.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and schedules.
• Identify risks and issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Coordinate interfaces between Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, Controls/BMS, and others.
• Review RFIs, design changes, and consultant/client responses.
• Provide regular project updates to management and client.
