• Lead and manage project engineers and site teams to meet timeline, budget and quality standards.
• Monitor site progress, team performance and work efficiency per project specs and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with TNB, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Supervise subcontractors and suppliers to meet project requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly with timely decisions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project reports and site documentation.

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER ELECTRICAL (SUBSTATION)

Lead and manage TNB substation and electrical infrastructure projects. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, hands‑on project execution experience, and the ability to drive project delivery effectively from planning through completion.

Key responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor the overall progress of TNB substation projects, including electrical and civil works, from project commencement to completion.

Lead and manage project engineers and site teams to ensure project activities are completed within the targeted timeline, budget, and required quality standards.

Monitor site progress, team performance, and work efficiency to ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate effectively with TNB, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Supervise and monitor subcontractors' and suppliers' performance to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements.

Identify and resolve site issues promptly while ensuring effective coordination and timely decision‑making.

Prepare and maintain accurate project reports, progress updates, and site documentation, including liaison with relevant authorities.

Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations throughout project implementation.

Lead project management activities and drive the successful, timely, and efficient delivery of projects.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power Systems.

Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical infrastructure projects.

Direct experience in TNB grid development works is mandatory.
