Job Overview:
Senior Project Engineer responsible for engineering works of Living Quarter. Will provide guidance on architecture, HVAC, and related areas to the team, ensure timely engineering deliverables, and coordinate with the Consortium partner for fabrication and pre-commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or project management
- 5-8 years of experience in engineering, preferably with a major contractor or consultant, mainly in detail engineering
- Good knowledge of design techniques, analysis methods, and workflow
- Preferably a registered professional engineer or member of a professional engineering society

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inputs from various engineering disciplines, departments, and subcontractors for the project
- Ensure generation of required deliverables, reports, and procedures
- Support the management of engineering aspects of the project
- Use expertise to solve complex problems with innovative solutions
- Manage time effectively to meet objectives, forecast resources
- Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling small projects, establishing policies and procedures
- Act as liaison between the customer, project engineering manager, and engineering team, including third-party agencies
- Assist in preparing and implementing the Engineering Project Execution Plan (PEP)
- Help develop the work-sharing Interface Plan & Scope Split Matrix
- Ensure scope of work is clear, with no overlaps or gaps
- Review project plans and prepare subcontract scope packages
- Participate in engineering readiness reviews
- Manage inputs and changes to the engineering project plan and scope
- Facilitate logging and evaluation of change impacts via DTCMS
- Review scope of work documents and update as needed, assist in change orders
- Coordinate information flow between engineering and other functions
- Maintain document registers and ensure timely distribution
- Document significant communications and decisions
- Develop and monitor closeout of technical queries
- Coordinate site queries related to subcontracted work
- Review project and fabrication schedules for alignment
- Attend progress meetings and prepare minutes
- Coordinate engineering work, including weight control and updates
- Ensure submission and approval of procedures and calculations
- Monitor approvals with the customer
- Coordinate with quality and procurement teams for inspections, certifications, and vendor data
- Engage with production and offshore engineers to track progress and resolve constraints
- Keep management informed of activities and issues
- Compile progress reports and monitor KPIs
- Participate in safety, operability, and constructability reviews
- Travel as needed for meetings, reviews, and interface resolutions
