Job summary

Air Products is seeking a capable Project Accounting professional in Malaysia to manage all accounting aspects of SAP-driven projects, ensure compliance, and drive accurate revenue recognition for equipment projects. You will interface with finance, business, and operations to review master data and project costs, while supporting automation initiatives.

The role requires CPA/ACCA or equivalent audit experience, SAP knowledge in a large multinational, and strong accounting fundamentals including

Qualifications

• Audit experience with CPA/ACCA required or equivalent.
• SAP knowledge in an MNC environment is a plus.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles; US GAAP knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in Project Accounting or Fixed Assets Accounting 5+ years.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Automation skills (e.g., QlikSense, QlikView, BW, Python) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SAP project system compliance and capitalization timing.
• Record revenue for Sale of Equipment projects and intercompany billing.
• Post journal entries, analyze reports, and reconcile balance sheets.
• Collaborate with finance, business, and operation teams on master data.
• Support Team Lead to resolve complex issues in project realm.
• Seek automation to streamline accounting processes.
