Job summary

Medtronic is expanding its operations in Malaysia and seeks a senior project leader to drive complex programs across cross-functional teams. You will oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, ensure compliance with SOPs, and coordinate with stakeholders in APAC, Europe, and the US.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing or regulated industries, Six Sigma or PMP credentials, and the ability to travel for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience with 3+ years in managerial roles, preferably in medical devices or regulated industries.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt and PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and monitor all phases of programs/projects from feasibility to closure per SOPs and PMO processes.
• Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects; liaise between PMO, project team, and line management.
• Lead cross-functional operations teams to ensure on-time and on-budget performance.
• Review project status, budgets, schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Manage end-to-end projects including manufacturing facility setup, line qualification, and technology transfer.
• Identify issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Develop monitoring mechanisms for progress and issue resolution with project managers and clients.
