Job description

Senior Production Engineer (Up to 6K / Precast Mfg / Senai)

Oversee the entire production process, from planning to completion.

Verify and submit daily production reports.

Coordinate with designers on design-related issues.

Work closely with planners to meet production targets.

Manage production costs:

1. Control concrete wastage.
2. Control consumption of materials and prevent wastage.
3. Manage manpower, set daily production targets, and control overtime.
4. Ensure proper SOPs to achieve productivity and quality.

Perform quality checks to maintain production standards.

Arrange machinery and materials for smooth production flow.

Monitor workers’ discipline, attendance, punctuality, and work attitude.

Coordinate with RCM for mold preparation.

Ensure clearance of finished goods in production areas with SY team.

Monitor downtime and follow up with maintenance on breakdowns.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace.

Conduct weekly toolbox briefings.

Report safety incidents to the safety team.

Provide training to the team as needed.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in precast concrete manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is a plus.
• 5.5 days per week with an alternative Saturday off.
• Must be able to work in Senai.
