Are you ready to lead the development and success of innovative healthcare and slimming products? We are looking for a Senior Product Executive who is passionate about product development, marketing strategy, and lifecycle management. This role offers the opportunity to shape market-leading products that resonate with consumers and drive business growth.
What You'll Do
1. New Product Development (NPD)
Lead end-to-end development and execution of assigned NPD projects within the healthcare and slimming categories.
Collaborate with suppliers to identify product opportunities, conduct market research, and determine product requirements, including formulations, specifications, and efficacy testing.
Manage production timelines, pricing strategies, and comprehensive launch plans to ensure timely product introductions.
Design and develop product labels, claims, and packaging that balance regulatory compliance with impactful branding.
Create a wide range of marketing collateral for new product launches, including newsletters, brochures, infographics, training slides, social media content, and video storyboards.
Proofread translations and validate design layouts for accuracy and consistency.
Coordinate with suppliers, Regulatory Affairs, and internal teams for overseas orders and regulatory approvals.
Negotiate Product Supply Agreements and Trademark License Agreements with suppliers, trademark owners, and Legal departments.
2. Product Management
Actively manage supplier relationships, including negotiating price adjustments and securing optimal pricing and MOQs.
Oversee inventory management by forecasting stock levels and coordinating with suppliers to ensure warehouse and store inventory sufficiency.
Analyze promotion performance and inventory levels to prepare data-driven promotional mechanics, forecasts, and costings.
Address and resolve product quality issues, serving as the liaison between suppliers, internal teams (Warehouse, Operations, Finance, Customer Care), and external labs.
Respond to customer inquiries, providing product information and nutrition advice where necessary.
Represent the company at roadshows, events, and health campaigns by conducting health tests, explaining product benefits, and promoting relevant items.
Develop and execute innovative marketing plans for product launches, ensuring maximum reach and impact.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create engaging content for social media platforms, videos, and live sessions.
Plan and implement promotional activities, including health observation days, with detailed forecasts and budgeting.
Conduct training sessions for internal teams, distributors, and external stakeholders to enhance product knowledge and engagement.
Support roadshows, campaigns, and other initiatives to boost visibility and sales of key products.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition, Food Technology, Dietetics, Science, or related fields.
A background in marketing is a strong advantage.
2-3 years of experience in product development, product management, or related fields.
Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented with an eye for detail.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines as a proactive team player.
Strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis.
