Job summary

Centific is seeking an experienced Senior Product Data Analyst to support product analytics and data-driven decision-making in Malaysia. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Data Analyst to support product analytics and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, hands-on experience analyzing production data, and the ability to identify trends, investigate product performance issues, and translate data into actionable insights. This role will work closely with Product Managers, Applied Scientists, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders across China and the US to support product growth and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily production data analysis and ad hoc analytical tasks to support product initiatives.
• Query, extract, and analyze large datasets using SQL to identify trends, user behavior patterns, opportunities, and potential product issues.
• Analyze product performance, user engagement, feature adoption, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support product optimization.
• Conduct trend analysis and root cause investigations to identify factors affecting product performance and user experience.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support Agent Growth, Vertical Skills, and other product initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Applied Scientists, Engineers, and stakeholders across China and the US to support data-driven decisions and product improvements.
• Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analysis, Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently query, extract, and analyze large datasets.
• Hands-on experience analyzing production data, live product data, user behavior, or product performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including trend analysis, root cause analysis, KPI monitoring, and user behavior analysis.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Good understanding of user engagement, feature adoption, customer journey analysis, and product performance monitoring.
• Ability to translate business questions and data findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Fluency in both spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively across China and US-based teams.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Added Advantage

• Experience using Python for data analysis, particularly with libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Experience supporting digital products, AI-powered platforms, or other technology-driven product initiatives.
