Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Procurement Lead to drive the sourcing and procurement of Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances. The successful candidate will develop strategic procurement plans, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal inventory levels. Applicants should have a degree in a relevant field and at least 2-3 years of experience. Proficiency in Mandarin and excellent interpersonal skills are required for effective supplier communication.

Job description

• Lead the sourcing and procurement of Consumer Electronics & Home Appliances, and extended warranty services.
• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans.
• To evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Analyze purchasing costs and implement cost-reduction
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Ensure accurate inventory records and apply effective inventory control practices to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
• Forecast product demand and maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer expectations.
• Work closely with internal departments.
• Ad hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Business Studies, Business Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Able to work independently, a strong team player, and a fast learner.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiable skills.
• Must be able to communicate in Mandarin, as the role involves regular interaction with China-based suppliers.
• Proficient in MS.Office
