Job summary

ams OSRAM is hiring a Senior Technician / Associate Engineer in Kulim, Malaysia, to support test and wafer probing equipment through troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvements. The role requires collaboration with Process/Test Engineers and participation in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair support for test systems and wafer probing equipment.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and follow standard maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
• Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance materials and monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid equipment downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of daily, monthly, and yearly maintenance activities and update maintenance logs, checklists, and reports in a timely manner.
• Assist Process/Test Engineers in equipment evaluation, setup, and qualification activities and support experiments, data collection, and validation during process improvement initiatives.
