OFS Malaysia, part of Offshore Frontier Solutions and the MODEC Group, invites experienced professionals to join as Senior Engineer, Process Marine based in KL Eco City, Malaysia.

You will understand project specifications, develop design philosophies and process engineering deliverables (PFD, P&ID, data sheets, calculations and equipment sizing) for assigned projects, review bids, prepare technical reports, support site activities, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to safety and

Responsibilities

• Understands the project specific specifications and requirements of assigned projects (may include Construction, Commissioning and Offshore assignment) and Industry Standard, Classification Society and Regulatory requirements
• Develops design philosophies, engineering specifications, PFD, P&ID drawings, data sheets, calculations, and equipment sizing specific to the assigned project and validates them with the Lead Engineer
• Independently evaluates the process aspect of bids for packages from various suppliers; participates in technical bid evaluation and provides assessments with Lead Engineer
• Independently prepares technical reports (flare & blow down, flare radiation, process simulation basis, heat and material balance, process control description, utility summary, line list, and set point list), Safe Chart and Process C&E
• Independently develops solutions to technical/engineering problems by analyzing issues/data and evaluating options using experience and references
• Participates in safety meetings, explains the process system to the committee and closes observations/recommendations in a timely manner
• Participates in key stakeholder meetings (Client/Supplier/Sub-contractor/Class); reviews documents and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues
• Provides technical/engineering support and advice to CIC at site; troubleshoots and follows up to rectify gaps or problems, including off-site support
• Responsible for capturing lessons learned in his/her area and closing out project-related MIMS actions
• Mentor Junior Engineers
