Job summary

PXM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Bayan Lepas, Penang is seeking a capable Process Engineering Manager to lead the Process Engineering function and drive manufacturing excellence, productivity, quality and continuous improvement.

You will oversee a team to develop, optimize production and assembly processes and resolve manufacturing issues on the shop floor. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem-solving, and close collaboration with Production, Quality, NPI and cross-functional teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in an engineering discipline with relevant manufacturing exposure.
• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing/engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong EMS/electronics industry experience and NPI exposure.
• Proven capability in process optimization and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Process Engineering team to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Develop, establish and optimize production and assembly processes for efficiency.
• Analyze production problems and identify root causes using structured methods.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve quality and stability.
• Drive improvements in yield, productivity, and line efficiency.
• Oversee New Product Introduction, pilot runs and ramp-up.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure ISO compliance.
