Job summary

Masimo Medical Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Sr Engineer, Process to oversee backend and semiconductor process operations in our Johor facilities. You will optimize production workflows, drive continuous improvements, and ensure high quality in assembly, testing, and packaging stages.

The role requires strong process management, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations teams. Office-based with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Solid understanding of backend operations in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven experience in process management and optimization within semiconductors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain backend processes for semiconductor production.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of backend operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend equipment and tooling for backend processes.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvements to meet targets.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance measures; address defects promptly.
• Evaluate and improve backend processes to reduce cycle time and defects.
• Maintain documentation of process parameters, specs and work instructions; generate reports.
• Ensure safety compliance and environmental requirements in backend operations.
