We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with a strong background in offshore gas processing systems, including carbon capture, reinjection, and related development initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to technically robust, safe, and cost-effective process engineering solutions across various phases of project development—from conceptual design to execution and start-up.
This position presents an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge energy transition projects while being part of a multidisciplinary team supporting offshore production and sustainability-driven operations.
Perform and review detailed process engineering calculations for offshore gas processing and CCS systems in line with international codes, regulations, and client specifications.
Ensure engineering deliverables are technically accurate, aligned with budget and schedule, and meet HSE and quality standards.
Prepare core process deliverables, including:
Design Basis & Process Description
Process Simulations and Calculations
Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Heat & Material Balances
Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) – Process and Utility
Equipment and Instrumentation Datasheets
Utility and Chemical Consumption Summaries
Support all project phases including FEED, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
Interface effectively with internal and external engineering teams, offering technical guidance and mentoring junior engineers.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and best practices, with a strong focus on environmentally responsible design.
Actively contribute to the development of internal design methodologies, tools, and procedures.
Delivering accurate and optimized engineering outputs for complex offshore systems including gas treatment, CO₂ capture, and reinjection facilities.
Coordinating across multidisciplinary teams to manage interfaces and drive timely delivery in dynamic project environments.
Maintaining a high level of technical consistency and compliance throughout project phases.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
Minimum 8 years of process engineering experience in the oil & gas sector, specifically in offshore projects and/or CCS & reinjection facilities.
Proven experience with engineering software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, Pipesim, etc.).
Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, IEC, NORSOK).
Prior experience as Lead Engineer or Team Leader is highly desirable.
