Job description

Ambu is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to be based in Penang, Malaysia.

Reporting directly to the Section Manager of PE (Visualization), this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the dynamic world of medical device manufacturing. If you have hands-on experience in manufacturing processes and are eager to take your career to the next level in a high-impact medical device industry, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot issues associated with manufacturing processes and performing process simulations.
  • Develop new and cost-effective ways to improve quality, productivity and reduce waste by improving existing processes.
  • Develop routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
  • Propose a better manufacturing process and train operators on improved work methods.
  • Conduct tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production.
  • Handle customer complaints, NCRs, CAPAs and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Suggested Candidate Profile
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Experienced in process engineering.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Possess knowledge in related medical device standards.
  • Experience in process simulations.
  • Familiar with health and safety regulations.
