A leading electronics manufacturing company is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize assembly processes for PCBA, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement process improvements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. This position emphasizes familiarity with IPC standards and lean methodologies, offering opportunities to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems from the product line/ process to minimize reject levels.
Develops and optimizes assembly processes for PCBA, including soldering, component placement, and testing.
Implements process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Designs and tests new assembly methods to support new product introductions (NPIs) or design changes.
Troubleshoots and resolves process-related issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
Works closely with the QA team to ensure that products meet regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
Performs root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects, failures, or non-conformance issues.
Creates and maintains process documentation such as work instructions, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensures processes are standardized across the production line to maintain consistency in production and reduce variation.
Collects and analyses production data, identifying trends and areas for process improvement.
Generates reports on process performance, yield, and efficiency, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing.

Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics), Engineering (Biomedical Electronics), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
Relevant certifications in electronics manufacturing or process engineering are a plus (e.g., IPC certifications, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
3–5 years of experience in PCBA or electronics manufacturing in a process engineering role.
Proficiency in PCBA design and manufacturing processes including surface-mount technology (SMT), through-hole technology (THT), and automated assembly techniques.
Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-2221) and other relevant industry guidelines for PCB design, assembly, and quality assurance.
Familiarity with failure analysis and root cause analysis (RCA) techniques for process issues and defects.
