Senior Process and Design Engineer - Water Treatment

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process and Design Engineer to join Nuoc Engineering Technology Sdn Bhd. As a vital member of our Process and Design Engineering division, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing water treatment solutions. This is a full-time position based in Puchong/Kajang, Selangor.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the design, engineering, and development of complex water treatment processes and systems.
• Conduct process analysis, modelling, and optimization to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of process and design engineering.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, technical documentation, and calculations related to plant process design, including system operation and control.
• Assist with project implementation, including process documentation, technical clarifications with clients, and new technology integration.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
• Work with the Sales Department to design water and wastewater treatment plants, including preparing quotations and tender specifications.
• Coordinate with site installation teams, project teams, clients, and suppliers on technical matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a Process or Design Engineer in water/wastewater treatment industry.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in process design, modelling, and simulation tools such as Winflows, Q+, or Wave.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
