Job summary

DHL IT Services in Malaysia is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the design, development, deployment of enterprise applications using Java, React, JasperReports, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and modern cloud-native technologies. You will work across the full SDLC to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

You will mentor engineering teams, establish standards, and collaborate with global stakeholders to drive technical excellence and digital transformation across the business.

Qualifications

• Over 12 years in software engineering and solution delivery.
• Full-stack development across backend and frontend.
• Proven Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices experience.
• ReactJS, TypeScript, and modern web tech proficiency.
• Backend services and APIs with Java, plus Node.js or Golang a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and reporting solutions.
• Build and optimize backend services, APIs, and web apps for reliability and security.
• Architect and implement microservices with Java and modern frameworks.
• Develop responsive front-end using ReactJS and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and globally distributed teams to deliver new capabilities.
