About Our Client

We are a large organization within the manufacturing industry that specializes in high-precision injection moulding, producing quality components, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and global manufacturing standard.






Job Description

  • Lead the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of injection moulding processes to meet performance, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvements using methodologies such as DOE, SPC, and Six Sigma.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Tooling, and Production on new product introductions and mold validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Specify and validate new tooling, equipment, and automation technologies for injection moulding.
  • Monitor and analyze process KPIs to ensure consistent manufacturing performance.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues and non-conformities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, work instructions, and process validation protocols.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices in moulding technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA if medical, or automotive standards like IATF 16949).

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding, with at least 3 years in a senior engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of mould design, tool validation, process optimization, and scientific moulding techniques.
  • Familiar with injection moulding machines (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky), auxiliary equipment, and automation systems.
  • Proven track record in process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and documentation within a regulated industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
