About the Role
Management of fixed income portfolios of both insurance funds and investment linked funds in accordance to the stated investment objectives which include – outperformance against the benchmarks, peer ranking (for investment linked funds) and meeting investment income target.1. PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

• Ad-hoc investment project as and when required.
5. COMPLIANCE
• Ensure compliance with investment parameters and requirements from both internal and regulatory.
• Ensure adherence to operating guidelines, processes and procedures.
• Any breach shall be reported with explanation leading to the breach and action to rectify.
• Ensure audit trail is available for compliance and audit check.
• Ensure appropriate approval is being sought prior to execution.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance/Actuarial/Business Administration
CFA chartered holder is preferred.
(a) Minimum 5 years of experience in investment –related fields i.e. fund management or investment research
• A good track record of funds managed
• Analytical with particular strength in financial analysis
• Sufficient knowledge of global markets, economics, and portfolio theory
(b) Understand insurance regulations and insurance liability metrics for devising appropriate investment strategies.
(c) Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Must possess Persatuan Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC)
