Job description

Lead and supervise a team of plumbers and apprentices, ensuring tasks are assigned appropriately and completed on time.

Provide hands-on training and mentoring to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Monitor the performance of the team, offering guidance and support to improve skills and efficiency.

Actively perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, water heaters, pumps, and valves.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues, from blocked drains to pressure problems, using advanced tools and techniques.

Install and repair piping systems for water supply, drainage, and heating systems.

Replace and repair faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures.

Perform inspections of plumbing systems, diagnosing issues, and performing required repairs or replacements.

Handle emergency plumbing services, including responding to water leaks, pipe bursts, and system failures.

Job Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in all aspects of plumbing work, including installation, maintenance, and repair.

Prior supervisory experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Extensive hands-on experience with plumbing systems, including residential and commercial installations and repairs.

Proficiency in troubleshooting, pipe fitting, and repair techniques for a wide range of plumbing systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plumbing schematics, and service manuals.

Familiarity with modern plumbing tools, equipment, and technology.
