Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to lead end-to-end development across backend, frontend, and cloud components. You will build robust Python/Node.js services and implement modern UI with React.js/Next.js while integrating GraphQL APIs with AWS infrastructure.

You will drive design decisions, ensure code quality, and guide junior developers. Minimum 5 years of full-stack experience and strong AWS and CI/CD skills are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (backend engineering, APIs, microservices).
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, Next.js, GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, EC2, S3, IAM.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development across backend, frontend, and cloud components.
• Build robust backend services using Python and Node.js.
• Design and develop modern UI using React.js and Next.js.
• Develop and optimize GraphQL APIs, schemas, and resolvers.
• Implement reusable, secure, and well-tested codebases across the stack.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and AWS components.
• Design and deploy production-grade cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, EKS, etc.).
• Apply best practices for scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
